Car Cruise

"The Down on the Farm Car Cruise".

It's always been a popular event!  Ben Bissett's has always sponsored the Car Cuise and graciously donates 100 goodie bags.

Can you believe we’ve been cruisin’ into good times since 2009?! Time sure flies when you’re surrounded by shiny chrome, roaring engines, and good folks enjoying a day on the ranch. Whether you’ve been riding along with us from the very beginning, joined us in recent years, or you’re planning your very first visit — we’re mighty glad to welcome you out to the farm for a fun, laid-back day in the country!*

Bring your favorite set of wheels, stroll the ranch, swap stories with fellow car lovers, and enjoy all the sights, sounds, and memories that make our Car Cruise a fan favorite year after year.

Here’s What You Can Expect: Goody Bags for the First 100 Qualified Show Cars A big ranch-sized thank you to our wonderful sponsor, Ben Bissett Chevrolet, for helping make the goodies happen!

Good Tunes, Good Eats & Plenty to Enjoy Enjoy on-site music, food concessions, ranch attractions, and plenty of room to kick back and enjoy the day.

Show Car Admission Just $10 per show car includes ranch admission for TWO guests. (That’s right — bring your car and your favorite co-pilot!) If more than two folks arrive in a show car, the first two are covered under the $10 show car admission, and additional guests fall under regular ranch admission at $15 per person.

Qualified Car Categories Include: Pre-’79 Classics, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Imports, Customs, Low Riders, Specialty & Exotics — and plenty more beautiful rides we just can’t wait to see.

So shine up those tires, polish that chrome, and make plans to spend a relaxing day at the ranch with folks who appreciate a good ride and great company. We’ll see y’all at the ranch!

Brothers John And David McCullough have always liked automobiles. However, their first love was Agriculture. So…….tractors, trucks, cattle and farmland always came first, to support their ever growing Ranch. In 2012, David decided it was time for him to get his first car, an Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Corvette. At the same time, John thought they needed a new manure spreader, as well, so they did what they always do….. got both! After getting the Corvette, the brothers thought it would be fun to have a Car Cruise, at the Ranch. Their Grandfather, Plummer McCullough, had written a weekly article in the Allied News newspaper for years, titled “Down on the Farm.” It was basically an Original social media posting, done through a newspaper. John and David thought that naming the event, “The Down on the Farm Car Cruise,” would be a nice tribute, even though Plummer never drove or owned an automobile! My how things have changed!
