1881 Schoolhouse Shop
Step Inside the 1881 Schoolhouse Shop – Where History Meets Homestyle Goodness. Swing open the door to the 1881 Schoolhouse Shop and you’ll be greeted with the rich aroma of country tradition and farm-fresh flavor. We’re proud to offer our very own Black Angus beef—born, raised, and butchered right here on the Ranch. From juicy ground beef and ready-to-sizzle burger patties to mouthwatering roasts, briskets, and premium steaks like ribeyes, NY strips, filets, and sirloins—you’ll taste the difference that homegrown makes. Craving a little extra? Grab a pack of our hickory-smoked bacon—it’s a breakfast game-changer. Take a stroll through the shelves and you’ll find our line of ranch-labeled jarred goods: jams, jellies, pickled eggs, salsas, pickles, and more—just like grandma used to make. Wash it all down with a novelty soda from Northern Soda Co. (Butterscotch Root Beer or Minnesota Apple? Yes, please!), and don’t miss out on a bag of Pietzryk Pierogi—you’ll be back for more, guaranteed. We’re stocked with ranch-branded apparel, hats, and all kinds of handcrafted goodies from our local friends. For the sweet-toothed youngin's in your crew, we’ve got a whole spread of fun candy just for them. And don’t forget to check out our golden local honey—available in sticks, jars, creamed, or hot if you're feeling bold. It’s more than just a shop—it’s a little taste of ranch life, packed with heart and homestyle flavor.

History
Built in 1881, David and John's father - Harold McCullough, as well as Sara's Grandmother - Martha Steele, attended this very schoolhouse.
One of the original outhouse buildings is still located behind the schoolhouse. The original windows, chalkboard, and desk remain to this day. We are told that kids used to throw the ball over the roof at recess!
